What You’ll Learn

In the first module of Leading in Disruptive Change, we’ll open up the mindset necessary for leaders operating in environments of complex change, by exploring what we have identified as 8 Powerful Practices.
These practices are key to being ready & prepared to not only survive but thrive in disruptive change and to move your organisation forward with success.

In this section of Leading in Disruptive Change, we'll explore the four fundamentals that secure an organisation’s ability to remain relevant and valued in the future and that are critical to leading in disruptive change.

In module three, we'll dive into the Strategy in Action framework, the unique 21st-century framework that sits behind our thinking and acts as an algorithm and practical tool to help leaders proactively change ahead of change.

In this section of Leading in Disruptive Change, we'll dig into the practice of Conditions Analysis, a discipline which is core to shaping and maintaining a Foresight view.
Through an active and interactive practice of Conditions Analysis techniques, we'll open up your mindset and understanding of how to identify and focus on what is disrupting and what will (or may) disrupt your organisation/industry in the future.
You’ll come away with a view of what is emerging, or already exists, as potential conditions you need to be watching for.

Off the back of looking into conditions and the specific conditions you may need to watch for, we’ll dig into Strategic Opportunity-Risks.
When working to leverage disruptive change and generate sustainable value, knowing what to focus on, when and why becomes critical. Learning how to assess and prioritize strategic opportunity-risk, or SOR, in conditions is a critical skill that you’ll put to practice in this module.

The entirety of the Leading in Disruptive Change course takes place online. Course materials are supplied through our Learning Resilient Futures learning management system, where you will access everything from your modular materials, to course forums, and meeting access links.
The live peer sessions are facilitated over Zoom.

We strongly encourage you to prioritize making all three of the live peer sessions, as the discussions & peer-based learning that will occur in these sessions will be extremely beneficial to your learning. If you are unable to attend one of the live sessions, however, simply let your course support person know ahead of time and a session playback will be available to you the day after the session.
If circumstances change after registering, and you are unable to make any of the live sessions or commit to the time required for the course, we are able to discuss course transfer on a case-by-case basis.
